渣斗，又名爹斗、唾壶，是历史悠久的汉族传统工艺品，起源于晋代，用于盛装唾吐物。如置于餐桌，专用于盛载肉骨鱼刺等食物渣滓，小型者亦用于盛载茶渣，故也列于茶具之中。
渣斗起源于晋代，明清两代渣斗常放置于床边和几案上，以备存纳微小废弃之物，用途有所拓宽，材质也日渐多样。有银器或漆器，堪与名窑瓷器比美。
还有学者认为“渣斗”是茶道具，而且有大量证据可以证明，就是渣斗作为茶道具这种功用了。最直观的就是出现在壁画上的信息了。著名的宣化辽墓上就有不少渣斗的身影，这些壁画中出现的渣斗很显然是与茶相关的，而从手捧渣斗的姿势来看，渣斗绝对是一种比较高级的器皿，不会是盛放较脏的液体的。用途呢就是盛放喝茶过程中一些剩余的茶水。这个我们需要结合当时的饮茶习惯去理解。国博藏的一套出土于河北的茶具就更加印证了这个猜测。
此窑变渣斗，器胎质细腻、致密、坚硬，叩之声音如铁，施釉显得肥润，有流畅的曲线感。内壁褐色、灰色、朱砂红窑变，飘渺如真，胎质厚重，绚丽的釉色，雅致的造型，品相完好，包浆自然，值得收藏！
